I love to make things beautiful and I love to make beautiful things. I always have. It’s woven into my DNA.

I make my art in pixels, paint, paper, metal, stone… pretty much anything I can get my hands on. My work as a graphic designer is mostly in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I’ve also been making jewelry as Mackerel Sky Jewelry since 2010.

When I’m not making things, I keep busy by volunteering in my community: I co-founded and help run a Women’s Centre, and run a community non-profit art gallery (Gallery 217).

My art is heavily influenced by the natural world around me – having lived most of my life on a small island off the coast of Nova Scotia, surrounded by the dramatic beauty of swirling dark green water, gnarled spruce trees, and rugged basalt columns.

I believe we are all artists – I believe in making your life a work of art. I live to help others reach their creative potential, to help them tell their own unique and beautiful stories. Let’s tell yours.
